Hi All, Just bought a complete 7740 from a fellow, but the real find was the "Lego World Show" booklets from shows 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. He also threw in a 7777. Does anyone have the booklets from shows 1, 2 and 3 that they would like to trade or sell. (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jul-00, to lugnet.org.au)

I kind of agree with you. I wish they would replace this series with actual mechs. I also keep hoping to see an ancient greece topic, something based Jason and the Argonauts ot Clash of the Titans themes. Something instead of just plain mini-figs (...) What are the other three pieces of rolling stock shown there? I see the engine, a yellow loaded flatcar, and a blue hopper car as well ... Are they going to be offered as models in the near future? Mmmm. The pirate ship's wheel (dunno if the fabuland one is the same part) fits the technic 2x1 block (or any technic connector pin hole), but the wheel doesn't have a standard connector pin. What piece does the pin of the ship's wheel fit into? I thought it would be 3700 the 1x2 brick with a hole, but it doesn't seem to fit.
