  Re: GBs, Valhalla and profiles

(...) Where's your commitment?? ;-) (...) I got it to work at home. I think the problem at work is with our server, which doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Anyone want an IT job at Barclay Mowlem? You couldn't do any worse than the current mob. (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

  Re: the latest news

I know we're not supposed to flood this group with a lot of 'thank yous' and 'me too's, but I sure am excited about this news, and I'm sure that everyone else is as well! Thanks! I do have one question: (...) How do these two points relate to each (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Thanks! (...) :) Go for it, there's lots more to come too. (...) Yah, I think maybe I need to get a new camera too, the one I have doesn't take close up shots very well, they all turn out blurry. The big thing is waiting for a bright sunny (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: My NEW Lego site!

(...) ROTFL...there ya go, my ships all come equipped with multiple fuse boxes. :) Doesn't it seem odd though that in Star Trek things blow up and make all sorts of cool noises...I mean, I though space was a vacuum. -Matthew (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

  Any Subspace fans out there?

This dosen't have directly to do with LEGO except for the fact that I plan to build some of the ships from this wonderful game! It was a Virgin entertainment game and it did actually sell in stores for a short while. But it became loved by thousands (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: the latest news

(...) Do you have rough pricing? Eg for a 2x4 red brick? Will pricing involve a sliding scale? Eg, if there are any economies of scale for shipping out 1000 same-type elements to one person, rather than shipping 100 same-type elements to 10 people.. (...)   Lego Direct and us (not US)

Well looks like we miss out again. Maybe Lego Aus management will blame this on retailers too. To use a common Aussie word: "bugger" Do we still have to pay customs tax if we bring just ones or two's of lots of different sets, rather than say a (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Re: My NEW Lego site!

(...) Uh oh, I don't think we should start that debate in here...LOL My explanation is that while they share similar names the actual tech specs are completely different. That would be a cool fight though...The Enterprise vs The Super Star (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: This is the Admiral culling...

(...) If that's a serious statement, I know that Richard Parsons would probably sell one or both of his kids to get his hands on a BSB. ;-) Pete Callaway (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: Lego Direct and us (not US)

  Re: Studs site

(...) I like it (and the URL!! Your wife did make *that* cake, after all!!). As long as you don't mind hosting it. We greatly appreciate your work, but we'd hate you to think we expect you to do it. (...) Certo che è un complotto, e certo che lo faccio apposta :-) E questa delle scatole non è certo la peggiore delle idiosincrasie di Domenico. Com'è quella dei pezzi di un set che non si devono confondere con quelli identici di un'altro? Se per (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

Re: Lego Direct and us (not US)

Thats a good question, Although it doesn't say we aren't offering the rest of the world, It only says Initially in North America and Europe. Seeing as we never got S@H here, I figured something very similar will happen here too. I'm still not (...) (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) I'll third that. Currently Aussie AFOL's feel about as loved as your average BURP when it comes to recognition from TLC. When will we stop having to pick up the 1x1 plates from under the US LEGO table?? Pete Callaway (26 years ago, 16-Apr-00, to lugnet.lego.direct)
