(26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.it)

  RE: Soccer sets in Aus

This is like the train stuff last year...I phoned LA and was told categorically that we would NOT get any train sets other than those shown in the catalogue..Then they bring in the other sets without letting anyone know. If this happens with the (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: New newsgroups for LEGO Direct and the LEGO Company

(...) Some more background and clarification (Important): This new .lego.* area (especially .lego.direct) is intended more as a "community dialogue with the LEGO Company -- for courteous and concise discussion" than as a regular traffic discussion (...)   Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) hahaha (...) Man, I wish I had 30 skeletons. You could just field them as regular Troopers if you wanted - they'd probably have the same armor value; their decreased sturdiness is counteracted by the fact that they can lose a lot of pieces (...)   Re: about robots and handy board

Francis, Thanks for the info! I'm not an expert, but doesn't PIC stand for "Peripheral Interface Controller"? Well, I guess it's all just semantics, they both could be correct... Just wondering, John Wynne (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) This is usually the way to go - it doesn't even matter that much if they aren't well matched, if you have more than two players. Weaker players will always tend to gang up on stronger ones, even if they don't declare official alliances. (...) (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: More torque

One word "Chopper" Nearly every commercial stepper motor driver I have ever seen uses a chopper circuit. This is because torque is related to current (actually its related to magnetic flux but that's related to current :-). The operation of a (...)   Re: CO BrikWars get together

(...) That may or may not be true, we weren't actually able to do a lot of real- world testing in that regard like we did with the chainsaw fighting and other stuff. How magik works may change depending on the battle and the players involved. (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.us.oh)

  Re: Soccer sets in Aus

(...) Since they are in the catalogue for the first half of the year (2 cats/yr) I guess it will be before July if at all. TRU's will probably carry most of the range, as my local TRU manager says they like to be a 'destination' with the 'widest (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

  Easy part to model request

Here should be an easy part to model. It could probably be done by modifying part # 6629. A picture of the desired part can be found at: (URL) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Controlling RCX with game controller

Hi everyone, I have developed a program for Windows 95/98/2000 that will allow you to control your RCX with a game controller via the infrared transmitter that comes with the RIS set.   Re: Shell promo sets coming April 10th

Hey, No complaining. They supposedly started in So. Cal, but I live here in LA, and while I have heard all the radio promos, I still haven't seen ANY sets in the 12 Shell stations that I stopped in. I'll try more tomorrow. Perhaps I'll FINALLY see (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Software to merge video frames to obtain higher quality stills?

  Spotted some good technic deals.....

Thought there might be some interest in these deals at one of my local Lego stockists. Currently, they have 25% off all toys, and the Lego prices were already pretty good: 8480 Space Shuttle £59.99 = £44.99 8462 Tow Truck £49.99 = £37.49 8479 Bar (...) (26 years ago, 12-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)
