Any word when we will actually see these (i.e. Soccer)sets ?? I received
contradictory information to what I have read here (what is new with LA you
may ask !?!??!) I was told that YES the buses will be available ??? This was
from LA and TRU. What do you believe ?? I think that we all need to make a
phone call to Lego Australia... c'mon you guys it is toll free 1-800-683-100
and make sure that they realise that we do want these sets out here. I think
that since they are in the catalog it would seem logical that we will get them
but heck that is just me being an optimist again ;-]
Kaz :-)

Since they are in the catalogue for the first half of the year (2 cats/yr)
I guess it will be before July if at all.
TRU's will probably carry most of the range, as my local TRU manager says they
like to be a 'destination' with the 'widest range' (prices to match).
I'd say the bigger GBs/Myers will probably as well (eg. Chatswood).
As for Toyworlds I'd say most won't since most have a pretty puny range. They
would rely on their one-off phone order capability. Toyworld Horsham and
Toy Kingdom Bendigo would be good people to ask, since both shops had huge
displays devoted to Lego (bigger than some TRU's!)and seemed Lego-friendly.

Let's all follow Kaz's lead and phone LA direct, there will come a point
where it will be cheaper to bring sets in than pay the 1800 bill.

I can't believe the lack of toyshop interest in the soccer range, these sets
have high playability and I'm sure would interest the soccer followers and
I can see people playing with it who would not normally play with 'toys'.
The buses with their seven(?) train windows will be snapped up by anyone
wanting decent windows for a change (from trainheads to townheads...)

Let's play role-call with the sets in the catalogue,
Every replier to this post snip away and give your requirements next to the
sets numbers (I will just guess the set no. for the buses):-
                                          PW
3409 - Championship challenge (the field)  1
3402 - Stand with light pole               4
3403 - Fans' Grand Stand with s/board      4
3410 - Expansion set (players bits)        1
3408 - Super Sport Coverage                1
3404 - Blue Window Bus                     1
3405 - Red Window Bus                      1
3406 - White Window Bus                    1
3407 - Black Window Bus                    1
3401 - Shoot 'n Score (practice goals)     1

Once again I'm just guessing with the bus numbers, don't quote me.

If I were LA I would have in-store soccer games between shoppers/kids.
