Re: Flying cars. Wheels like in "Back To The Futre."

(...) I've seen some pictures of some models that were actually used in the movie. Unfourtunatly, I don't remember the web address. The wheels folded down with some kind of pump, either pnumatic, or hydralic, I could't tell for sure. You might try (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.ideas)

Re: Lego Shows and all that

(...) Well, for Penrith Plaza, how about this Saturday sometime, as it's on now!! Morning would probably be better as it frees up the afternoon. We could scope out the displays, buy more LEGO, loiter and generally make a nuisance of ourselves in the (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.loc.au.nsw.syd)

Re: What is it about the brick that has us hooked?

(...) Tell me about it. At fourteen it was even more embarrassing, "What, you haven't grown out of legos [sic] yet?!"... now at sixteen I can at least say it's a hobby, not an overgrown toy! (...) Tell me about it... for me it all really started (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

  Light Sensor

I am a neophyte. Most every thing worked as expected. I have completed the guided mode exercise for the pathfinder configuration. My light sensor doesnt seem to work, however. The LED is very bright and may be swamping the receiver but I dont know (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.robotics)

My DeLorean LMKWYT (thanks whoever made that.)  [DAT]

This took me more than a week to make. Mainly because I had to think of how to get the things to fit together correctly. The wheels themselves took about four days, with six tries, all of which failed my needs. The wheels I finally came up with are (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Fighter Launch Rack and other Hangar Bay Questions

Does anyone have any ideas for a fighter launch rack? I saw one onboard a huge microfig carrier on this Japanese site and it looked very cool. It consisted of a weird technic contraption with the fighters attached to it. I'm building a carrier for (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

  Stupid question about steam engines

Ok don't laugh me out of the group, but I have a very basic question about old steam engines. I don't understand the numbers for the wheel layouts. I thought I did, but after reading a book on train history this evening I'm even more confused than (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Ohio builders :)

(...) Ever played Dungeons & Dragons? Brik Wars is identical to it, except for one little thing -- you build your army with Lego, instead of using cast iron minifigures. you can read the rules here: (URL) when is a good date for everybody?   Re: What is it about the brick that has us hooked?

(...) I just turned fifteen and all my friends actually think it is the coolest thing that I still play with LEGOs. Whenever I have a party, second to people going a few houses down to knock on Enrique Igeslias (or however you spell it) house hoping (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Stupid question about steam engines

(...) The first number is the number of wheels in the lead truck (ahead of the large wheels driven by the rods), divide by two for the number of wheels on one side. (...) Agreed, my friends. In my zeal to get rid of these sets, I probably posted too many separate messages. My intent was to put all related sets in a given lot (and message), but I can see that even with this limited "compartmentalization", there (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.market.theory)
