Re: 5909 biplane modifications - need help with slanted struts

(...) Ah yes, the Hand of God Attacking the Biplane scene... ;-) (...) Just a thought, haven't tried it yet: On top of the bottom wing, fix a 1x1 brick with 5 studs (1), and attach a plate 1x2 with long towball (2) to one of the side studs, so that (...)   LEGO Train Club Calendar?

I was wondering if there would be interest in putting together a LEGO Train calendar? There could be a contest of images submitted to the contest, LEGO train related images (i.e. Stations, layouts, rolling stock, engines, etc.). Then via a web site (...)   Re: How does one become a "Guild of Bricksmiths(tm)" member?

(...) Hardly. Why, *did* you? I would say "accidentally misled" because I don't choose to ascribe malice to that which can be satisfactorily explained otherwise. (...)   Re: Spare Parts

You can get some parts from LEGO Service (0345-080070). Otherwise Commotion (in Tonbridge, Kent) supply all the LEGO Dacta stuff including all the sensors, lots of spare parts, RoboLab software etc. Call 01732-773399 for a free catalogue. Regards, (...)   Re: Microfig Creations and Karim Nassar's Pallas Spaceworks

(...) Ha. If you're building models for the popularity and admiration, you're doing it for all the wrong reasons. Ultimately, you will be disappointed. Cheers, - jsproat (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.space) !

  Re: Some Words To BFC

Reflecting on (my impressions of) what Steve, Mike, and Rui have been saying, it seems we have two possible directions to go. One direction, which Steve has developed, assumes we will have some files which are BFC compliant, and some which are not. (...) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad.dev) !

Re: A minifig pack for EVERY theme

(...) Here's a better idea: Stop making all of the scarred/mustachioed/...lipsticked faces and go back to plain smileys. Then they can be either. Unless your women have hormone problems and your men are cross-dressers, it's hard to use today's (...) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Microfig Creations and Karim Nassar's Pallas Spaceworks

(...) I disagree. Detail doesn't necessarily entail a 1500-button command display on the bridge. Effectiveness doesn't necessarily require a large scale. Part of the lure of microfig-scale building is trying to capture the essense of something in as (...) (26 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: LEGO Train Club Calendar?
