  Re: New LEGO train realism?

(...) Our group (The VLC) are about to meet to select a table format. We are leaning towards the PNLTC standard tables. We will be adjusting the width for maximum usage. I'm even thinking of bolt on Plexi glass to 'protect' our layouts. I've been (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: infrared remote control of LEGO trains using NQC and RCX

(...) My point was that the big boy was longer than the triplex; never said anything about being the longest, so I think you're wrong for alleging me wrong:-) -John (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Target-exclusive Legoland sweepstakes

FYI, if you read the tiny pic of the ticket, it is one child entry free with one paid adult entry. Still a deal, though, for those with kids. (...) -- Tom Stangl ***(URL) Visual FAQ home ***(URL) Bay Area DSMs (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: 5135 Royal Knights Accessory Pack available at S@H!

(...) Ahhh, but the service pack had other items I wouldn't have complained about (and that I probably could have used anyways). I think I've gotten enough beard offers and pointers to beards now, though. ;) Maybe I'm fixed on minifig beards because (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: infrared remote control of LEGO trains using NQC and RCX

(...) Yeah, but you stretched the bounds of credulity with the "when we model it tripe" :-) But I knew you'd land on your feet somehow;-) All Hail Larry! -John (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 2000 SW sets at Target - 25% off

(...) WOW! That's waaa...aaay out. The US MSRP is $2.99, so casually multiply that by about 2 for the AUD price. $14.95 is absurd. They'll NEVER move it at that price. You should buy one at "normal" price, take it into them and shove it plus the (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

Re: YAL: Yet Another Loader :)

(...) The roll cage on mine doesn't open anyway...the driver has to enter through the side or top. I wonder what I could use to make forks that would fit...short (ie, fat) antennas, maybe? --Bram Bram Lambrecht / o o \ BramL@juno.com (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  Re: Retailer's Catalog

(...) Ah yes, I knew there was something I was forgetting. It was my first look at them too. They look pretty good. A little late for the Jurassic Park hype, but still cool. Robin (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.org.ca.vlc, lugnet.loc.ca.bc.van)

Re: 5135 Royal Knights Accessory Pack available at S@H!

(...) Why, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, of course. :) (don't ask me which book, I last read them a coupl years ago...) That Timmy head offer is like my offers of the most Valuable Lego Piece: The Yellow 2x4 Brick. :) Jeff (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

RE: 2000 SW sets at Target - 25% off

(...) I did argue about the 4910, and finally they decided to check with airport west toy kingdom, but as the shop is closing at the end of the month, there's not much chance of it changing. However, I believe they have sold at least 1 at that price (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.au)

(...) It is! It's one of my favorite (jewish) holidays (1) and it has a lot in common with Halloween. There IS a story behind it but I have no time to tell it now; I'll just tell you what we do: a. dress up; b. make "haman's ears", cool and weird (...) (26 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.people)
