  Re: RCX auto shut-off ?

I'm pretty sure that i have used the feature in the software w/o a problem to set the autoshut to another time interval, including never shutting off. I know this doesn't exactly answer the question, but maybe its a bug somewhere that will resolve (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  RE: Robolab Where???

(...) I couldn't concur more. My 7 year old, who by the way could not get his arms around the RCX Code that comes with RIS, is doing some neat stuff with Robolab 1.5. We've just ordered 2.0. I think the price is right for the value and depth of this (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Q: 10 dc motors on handyboard?

Does anyone know if handyboard can run more than four dc-motors? I want to be able to control a complex lego construction, with full control of all motors at once. The current flow shouldn't be to dramatic, I hope. I would also like to ask how it is (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

  USB cameras

I put some info on what I have found using a camera with the Mars Expansion Pack on my small web pages. The USB cable is not a good umbilical, stiff. I had to abandon one scanning platform design just because the cable tension kept stalling it out. (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  DAT Explorer permanently online

I finally added the system load check to the DAT explorer so I can leave it online. Previously some nasty web grabber programs were forking 25+ paralell povray processes and grinding the machine to a halt. Now if the system load is above 2.0 you (...)   Re: Short People

We are going to have to be careful of having short Lego people, because that will only lead to the inevitable Lego Dwarf Tossing®. Also to we are going to require new signs saying "You must be this tall to ride" for our vehicles. Then they will want (...) (26 years ago, 14-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)
