WTB: 1x4 black plate w/side vert. rod, down

Greetin's ye swabs, I be lookin' for nine o' these pieces so me riggin' will have the studs pointin' up so me crew can unfurl the sails. I'd pay a dollar a piece fer 'em. If none o' ye have any fer sale, can anyone recommend a way to this with other (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: If TLG was going to cease production of any 5 pieces which ones should they be?

(...) Well, you're right about the 1x2x5 and 1x1x5, they are great pieces and are good for many things. However, IMO those two are NOT Jr. pieces, not at all! Don';t know about you guys, but I have some of these dating back to 1992 and I'm sure (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: If TLG was going to cease production of any 5 pieces which ones should they be?

(...) Yeah, but despite that, I still like the single piece for stability. It's supporting all three masts on Gloire: (URL) think that 2x2 rounds, while they'd still be nice, wouldn't work nearly as well for what I'm doing. The square base really (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 30358 nearly finished

(...) I'm sorry, I did not do any more work on this part. Karim had made it MUCH farther than I did when I realized it was already in process. I do still have my notes somewhere. Hi Dave, Two things: a. Exactly what piece is this? Can you point out a number in the partsref? ( accessible from the lugnet homepage) b. I'm not sure if this is a piece often used by pirateers but you might have a better chance of finding what you (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: If TLG was going to cease production of any 5 pieces which ones should they be?

(...) I know what you mean, and in fact I like the piece too... I was just pointing out why some people don't like the piece. and also it's nice to know about the 2x2 rounds... I was really glad to find that out because I wanted columns at different (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Game Developer Conference

(...) Sunday (...) Jonathan Ackley and Mike Dooley were the speakers. Does that help? :-) There were a number of other LEGO people there, though. I had an interesting conversation with a couple of the Cybermaster creators from Denmark afterwards. -- (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.general)

Visiting the area on business, need pointers on good Lego spots

Hello WAMALUG, I'm in the area for business this week, staying at the Dulles Hilton. My work keeps me in the Reston/Herndon area, but I have some freetime in the evenings. Other than the Lego Outlet (Potomac Mills right?) what else should I check (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

Re: If TLG was going to cease production of any 5 pieces which ones should they be?

(...) I agree with you on 1x1x5s and 1x2x5s, but I've got to disagree with you on 1x6x5s. They are very useful, especially if they had been used in <set:6699 Set 6699>. If I hit this set in a certain way, the side wall would collapse. :) Jeff, (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)

Castle minifig packs (was Re: A good day in Shiri's Castle world)

(...) Maybe they'll do one for Knight's Kingdom in 2001? It's too bad they never did one for Royal Knights/Dark Forest, I would have *loved* that. If they go the usual route, it will probably have the following 'figs: * King Leo w/crown, silver (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Fairy Tale sets arrived

(...) That's work I don't want to do, especially since the pieces are all mixed in with the rest of my collection and I would have to first rebuild the sets according to directions which I wasn't planning to do. However, if you have a reasonable (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.belville)

  Re: Old sets

I think that the old sets would not be marketable in today's market. I mean, the space theme was created to be futuristic, but a lot of old sets like blacktron just aren't futuristic anymore. I think that the old sets would appeal to a lot of old (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

  Re: drafting paper

  Re: UDF-only Legos?!?

(...) Hey, Joel! What did they want for these. I just saw them in my local UDF in Dayton, but there marked a ridiculous $5.99. Another UDF nearby has two Star Wars sets (Lightsaber Duel and Droid Fighter) at $5.99, which is the MSRP for those two (...) (26 years ago, 15-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: If TLG was going to cease production of any 5 pieces which ones should they be?
