Re: Ironclad _La Gloire_ virtually complete--mini-page up

(...) I'll see if I can get any. It is a bit threadbare--I don't have enough TLG-approved rig to do what I want to do, not to mention not having any sails cut! :) The problem with the rig is that it's very hard to photograph, being black and in a (...)   Containers

I've been on and off thinking about containers (for ships, trucks, and trains). One of the things I'm wondering is if all the LEGO sets which have containers use the same dimensions? The other thing I'm wondering is if I should set my own standards (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

  ICB files

Anyone know where I could fine the AS11_IC.bat file? I need to do some assembly subroutines... (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: Interesting classic space items over on eBay

(...) These were manufactured in Denmark and sold via Samsonite in Canada from 1978 through the early 1980's. The four sets listed above are from the range 0012 to 0015. There is also a Town minifig pack (police officer, generic female minifig, (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.space)

  RE: Reddifest was great

Sorry if this starts to sound like a me too but! Thanks to Simon for hosting the event ! Pinboard idea with photos and names will help me fit those names to faces who I forgot within the first five mins. Whatever happened to the idea of the UK map (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Reddifest pictures are up

Re: Ironclad _La Gloire_ virtually complete--mini-page up

(...) Have you considered taking Lego string out of convenient unused winches? I've found that in general, clamping the end of a string between bricks is as good a hold as the little 1x1 round ends. Come to think of it, you could actually even use (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.boats, lugnet.build)

  Need 4x6 trans yellow plate

Following a very successful UK LEGOfest, I have managed to restore most of a classic 918. The only piece I have been unable to find so far is the cockpit lid, the aforementioned trans yellow 4x6 plate. If anyone has a spare, I would gladly buy or (...)   How many Lego® posters are there?

Good afternoon everyone. So I have been working on my Lego room basically all day now and I have some posters that I taped to the wall. This won't work very well so I'm getting them framed. I have 5 of these posters at the moment and I'm not sure (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Reddifest was great

(...) It's at (URL) which is linked from (URL). I've added some local shops and not-so local shops that I know about, but apart from that no-one else has sent me any shopping info! I assumed that this was a lack of interest (despite the offer of (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

  Re: Reddifest was great

(...) Silly me, I forgot to mention this page (URL) which describes in rambly detail, exactly the sort of information that I need, and what is the tip-top format to send it to me. Although, I will accept *anything*, it doesn't have to have address, (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.loc.uk)

Re: What should I buy for a robotics course?

(...) I've been working a similar course for a professor I work for. We're going to use HandyBoards and LEGOs in a computer science oriented robotics course. We decided to go with the HandyBoard over the LEGO RCX. The HandyBoard is very well suited (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Question

(...) The lcd_refresh() copies all data into the LCD controller chip, so the data is definitely there. But this data takes some time to be displayed on the actual LCD: The controller needs to drive the lines to the LCD, and the LCD itself has some (...)   Re: Interesting classic space items over on eBay

It might also explain why there were so many (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.market.theory)

Re: How many Lego® posters are there?

There are two Star Wars Lego posters that I have, one with Darth Vader and the other with Darth Maul, with their hands outstretched and Lego pieces flying between them. I bought them at the Lego Imagination Center at Disney World, and they may still (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: How many Lego® posters are there?

  RE: Turning power off?

(...) It's probably bad luck. Two weeks running is about normal if you're doing lots of IR downloads. The IRED takes quite a bit of current when transmitting. The POWER_OFF does shut things down....I really do forget if RCX_SHUTDOWN is necessary. (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

  Re: Color Palette

As long as somebody is answering questions about color, maybe you can answer mine too. I've recently started using L3P as my conversion tool, and I've been quite happy with the results. However, it doesn't like some of the MLcad colors, such as (...) (26 years ago, 12-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
