test test test..... The rain in spain falls gently on the plain. Bye, bye miss American pie, drove my chevy to the levy, but the levy was dry. Saw the good ole' boys drinkin whiskey and rye sayin' "This will be the day that I'll die..." (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.off-topic.test)

  Re: Hangar 33

(...) Yeah, they looked that way in LEdit too. I just went with it, though I did receive a suggestion to make the entire floor of tiles instead, which sounds intriguing. -Tom McD. when replying, spamcake doesn't make good landing pads because of (...)   Re: Just some questions...

(...) CAVEAT: I'm probably full of it, but here goes.... My understanding is that a 12 V NiCd battery pack would not damage the HB, since the HB can handle up to 12 V. The problem is that in order to charge a 9.6 V battery pack, the HB built in (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

Re: My RCX's life as a dog or hacking the x10

(...) This was a big surprise to me also. I found my little B&W camera sees the output of the remote control very brightly. Even with the big lens I added to considerably sharpen the picture vs the pinhole "lens". Even remotes with filters on the (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Sir Steve interviews someone from Lego

(...) To be fair, the LEGO guy said right in his first answer: "Because future launches are confidential, I can't say what will and won't be available in 2001 (yet)." It's not *his* fault that the interviewer then went on to only ask questions about (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: FA (Ebay) Old Space Sets

(...) Lugnet == fast eBay == slow Also, for sellers: Lugnet == trusted eBay == unknown I've just signed up a search on the eBay Personal Shopper. Now, I can't figure out how to get back to the service. I hope they plan on sending me e-mail, or I'll (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  2001 sets!

I know that this alittle early, but..... With the SSG interview done and "published". Although there were NO real answers! Accept we will get some Imperials in 2001. Anyone want to take bets on some 2001 sets. Here are some of mine: ---...--- (...) (25 years ago, 24-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Senator Palpintine / Emperor

(...) Well, the story as I understand it is that he (Palpatine/Darth Sidious/The Emperor) is a Dark Lord of the Sith, a dark side equivalent of the Jedi - basically the whole Empire/Rebellion/Galactic Civil War thing boils down to "a bit of a tiff" (...)   Re: Hangar 33

Very nice scene. Very nice indeed! One question for space plate experts... take a look at the plates in this image, where the T and + intersect tehre is a bit of a difference in the yellow lines...   Re: Another (semi-) standard field for inventories

  Re: Just some questions...

(...) The self-resetting thermal fuse that's part of the HB ought to be just fine (see item F1 on the HB schematics).   Re: Is it possible to have too much LEGO?
