Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) If I remember correctly, you live just north of Boston. My point being that I wouldn't mind picking some people up on the way, or vice-versa if some Bostonians want to commute down to mine or Dave Eaton's house. I've got plenty of floorspace (...)   Gee, 6271 is now a "very large ship"!

According to: (URL) is a "very large ship". Of course there are 4 ships which are larger, 1 the same size, and 2 (or so) smaller (the or so is 6493 and the cutter from 6277). (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Yet another CLUELESS about MIB

(...) Nope, no issues with your labels. But that's at least partly because I know you, and I trust your judge when you say something is worthy to be described as Mint (with any appropriate modifiers). One more point: when dealing with toys, (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: Gee, 6271 is now a "very large ship"!

(...) Hey, for the current bid of $3.99, I'm not gonna quibble (of course, the whole point of him saying it is a very large ship is to drive up the price). Bruce (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: WTB or trade! Slope brick 2x2x2

Re: Yet another CLUELESS about MIB

(...) When a set is bought from a store, there is a strong expectation that the set is complete. Completeness is part of the 'as if new' condition. I realize there are a certain percentage of sets which leave the factory with missing, wrong, or (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

  Re: Anyone remember this set?

(...) robots (...) listings, (...) Set 6702 contained two robots along with 4 classic space minifigs. That's the only one I remember. (URL) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.space)

Re: Haunted Houses- Im Open to suggestions

For my haunted house I used the 1x4 plates from Wild West with KEEP OUT on them across the windows. My LEGO creations site "Allanton NZ" is at (URL) go to Town News then Haunted House ...Allan (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Please test my page

I tried it and found several problems. On the front page, it says "click to enter," but you really have to click on the picture. I'd make the text a link as well. The following link couldn't be found (Spin city as a raceway or 'Small Nascar" page) (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: Robotic Vision (was: Video image analisys)

I have seen this program (NIH) at a workshop, and it was pretty incredible. I checked on the PC version (Scion makes this) and it is very similar. It says that it can measure (distances?) Could this be used as "vision" for a robot? Could this be (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  From Bricks to Bothans...

Is anyone having trouble getting to the new "From Bricks to Bothans" site? I keep getting these wierd connection errors. -Joh (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Yet another CLUELESS about MIB

I had some offline discussion with Mike P. about this and I think my opinion on this small controversy hasn't been stated clearly. I am going to go out on a limb and say that there are a lot of eBay sellers who misuse descriptions and in general do (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.auction)

Re: TCS Update... + more meeting info

(...) Yup thats right just North of Boston. I guess I should have made clear in my previous post that I would actually prefer to have the meeting at a location west of Boston or something. Not because it is more convinient for me but because I would (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: Haunted Houses- Im Open to suggestions

(...) Yes! That's exactly what I meant... and the "Keep Out" is a great touch. It certainly makes the house less happy-looking. - Mike (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Informal WB Store Survey

(...) Now that is excellent advice. Get the card issuer to dispute the entire charge, that usually gets the attention of the merchant in a hurry. Or just get them to dispute the amount that they actually owe you, they may decide it's not worth the (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: Why I think we'll get Stormtroopers + Imperial ships

Re: Gee, 6271 is now a "very large ship"!

(...) True. Perhaps I should drive up the price... In a week or so, I need to make another inventory of my pirate ship parts. What has been amazing is how easy it is to get sails. I also might have more 6271 center sections than 6280! (I have more (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Robotic Vision (was: Video image analisys)

James: (...) Absolutely, something like NIH can be used either for determining where your robot is in the world (eg. with a fixed camera looking down at your robot), or telling where things are relative to your robot with a robot mounted camera. (...) (26 years ago, 4-Feb-00, to lugnet.robotics)
