Re: Another update (was: Lion's Cove Update)

(...) Shiri, Ma Shlomech, I would've gotten it. ;) By the way, in reference to your reply to my last message, yes, my Hebrew is a little rusty, but also I wasn't sure if you male or female so I figured it would be better to use the masculine form. (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Positioning

Hi Mauro, I understand now, and you're right, it is a concern. I think the way to deal with it is to make landmarks big and hard to miss. This is the way landmarks work in real like. They are big. In this case, I'd say this means using a wide strip (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

  Robots In Love?

Hi All, I've just put up a new web site. It's about a new type of mathematics I invented about a decade ago. It's called Love, and works well at mathematically representing emotion. What does this have to do with robots? Well, I AM building an (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

Off-topic - help an American with German

Hello, I was wondering if any of you German Lego enthusiasts would like to help out an American studying German. For our class, we have to write short essays (75-250 words) once or twice a week. I am not very good at German grammer, especially the (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.loc.de)

  Re: De-lurk

Welcome Alan! Sounds like you have a great *starter* set-up;-) So you say you are not on the dark side yet, but I say give it a try. Start out with a box car. Kitbash your sliding doors from one of your boxcars and see what you can do. Basically, I (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: The Verneer Chronices - Chapter 1

(...) Wow - keep up the good work. I can't wait for chapter 2. You'll have to tell us all how you made the blurs. They're great! Was Kate's torso custom made? I think it was. Do tell how it was done. Eagerly waiting - <<KM>> (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.castle)

  [CW] Links

I hope the links from the member's page are the way they should be. I took Frank's advice and use the "Target = "_top" on them.   Re: Pantograph suggestions ?

The shoe is the hard part. Getting to the shoe seems pretty straightforward. Look at how the croc or metroliner does it. (URL) shows the croc pretty clearly. (wasn't there an alternate model for this set???) All those parts except the shoe (top (...) (26 years ago, 31-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Ideas with Technic Steering Wheels
