HMMM curious question...

Maybe one that Todd can answer

Does Lugnet benefit if we link to e-Toys form Lugnet... I am alomost
convinced that the e-Toys server would have a way of knowing that you just
left lugnet to get to their site... Should be all when purchasing something
get to e-Toys from Lugnet??

Well I can speculate, although I don't play Todd on TV, even...

If you view the page source for the page I refed, the phrase:

"You may be able to buy this set online from *eToys*" (where eToys is
the hyper link

expands to:

        <UL TYPE=SQUARE>  <LI>You may be able to buy this set online
from <IMG
SRC="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/serve?bfmid=38572&sourceid=6037075&bfpage=lego"
BORDER=0 WIDTH=1 HEIGHT=1 NOSAVE><A
HREF="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bfmid=38572&sourceid=6037075&bfpage=lego"
TARGET="_top">eToys</A>.  </UL> <BR>

I am speculating, but I'm assuming all that bfmid stuff is so that Todd
gets the referral credit. So yes, in cases where Todd has given the
link, go that way, especially if eBates doesn't have a relationship with
the merchant, if you want to maximise benefit to Lugnet.

Todd hasn't made a big deal of it because that's not his style.

It's a .publish question as to what the image link is actually doing, I
didn't see an image visible! But it's only 1 pixel in size so maybe it's
just magic gorp.
