This is a good general reference link. It's the NMRA or National Model Railroad Association. Well, I can tell the robot to turn 45 degrees using timing but it's not precise enough. It would be something about 43-47 degrees. I could use a rotation sensor (but I don't have one) to increase accuracy but there will always be a smal error. After (...) (26 years ago, 30-Jan-00, to lugnet.robotics)

This is interesting: 1989 - 1993 catalogs show the age range as 9 and up. 1994 - 1996 catalogs show the age range as 9 - 16. 1999 S&H catalog shows the age range as 9+ I don't have any other catalogs :-))) The box for 5571 shows the age range as (...) Andre and David: I would prefer the IR beam not be used for a scent trail since the scent trail for ants works in the absence of the ant that laid it. However I think using the IR beam is easier. I'm kicking around the idea of an RCX controlled blimp, and I'm wondering if an old-style technic 9v motor (the high-rpm one) in combination with one of the technic propellers can really be an efficient propulsion source. Actually, I think it does help in the long run to have a picture (and the picture logo on your listing). Some bidders do actually look at only auctions with pictures.
