Reasoning: make "ground level" 2 over the baseplate... to allow texture on the moon... Yea, I know its a pain... but the end result would be purdier :-) You should mention as a note that you can build a "riser baseplate" by starting with a baseplate then adding 1 brick + 2 plates of height to it. If you put a "old style" moonbase on a riser, it will line up with "new style".
