Sounds Good--excellent suggestion.

My favorite minfig torso has always been the blue-collar worker guy with 2
breast pockets --> http://www.brickbay.com/P/7/973p26.gif
Including this minifig in Green, Red, Black, Dark Gray, etc. would result in
me
buying many, many minifig packs.

Minifig construction Hard Hats in various colors would also be excellent.

As Lar put it--more generic is better.  No train logos or fancy torso
patterns.
