Become part of history and vote on the new color for the next container ship..

The Maersk Container ship (set 10152) has been a huge success and will truly be a collector’s items. The limited quantity is nearly gone. Many community members have asked if we can come out with the same model in another color scheme.

We think that’s a great idea, and want your help in picking the color scheme. We would be replacing only the Maersk Blue, with all other colors staying the same.

Head over to the survey (in English or German), and answer the two questions. We need answers ASAP in order to make work for the short turnaround we’re working under. We will take down the survey this coming Wednesday, June 9!

The survey is only two questions and should take less than 5 minutes to answer. Help me show the rest of the LEGO Company how many voices are out there in the community!

English Survey

German Survey

Thanks in advance!
Jake

That's cool. Can I assume that this "Dark Blue" is (URL) Blue> and this "Dark Green" is the super rare (URL)? I normally love blue more, but I will vote for the Dark Green since this colour is badly needed for military MOC. (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) The color "dark green", is that equivalent to what on Bricklink is "green", or is it a new color. If it is the same as Bricklink "green" (i.e. the very common green found in buckets, larger baseplates, etc), then this is going to affect the (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

All I can say is C O O L ! Now which other company will ask its customers such a direct question regarding a future product? Oh yeah, I voted for dark green - because my wife liked that one more! (URL) goto-lab> (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) That LEGO would offer us the chance to do this is just incredible! However, I too would like some official clarification on what is meant by 'dark green' since that term has a history of inconsistent usage by S@H. Right now shop.lego.com seems (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego)
Re: HOT! Need your help in choosing...

Any chance the set could be produced with all the colored parts in a single bag? That way, the set color could be decided at the last moment. Which means that it could be made available in more than one new color. Knowing my buying habits, I'd just (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) Seems to be a lot of support for the Dark Green in this thread, so I thought I'd voice an alternative opinion. Although surely the dark green would be a grand choice for those seeking what would be a huge bulk brick set for other uses, those (...) (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) I just clicked the link today (June 10) and it is still active (so of course I voted Dark Green again!). Has the poll been extended for some amount of time? If not, do you have recent tallies to share? .:Jeramy:. (20 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)
