HOT! Need your help in choosing... Jake McKee
Become part of history and vote on the new color for the next container ship.. The Maersk Container ship (set 10152) has been a huge success and will truly be a collector’s items.          Re: HOT! Need your help in choosing... —Larry Pieniazek
(...) ya! You said it! This rocks!!! Now if they can get PONL (P&O/NedLloyd) or Evergreen to approve stickers with THEIR logos, respectively, that will be REALLY great. As for orange, let's sell this one out and maybe we can get Hanjin or some other (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

(...) Why not make your own stickers? I bet its not worth the trouble to go after a different brand to put on. (...)         Re: HOT! Need your help in choosing... —Ka-On Lee
That's cool. Can I assume that this "Dark Blue" is (URL) Blue> and this "Dark Green" is the super rare (URL)? I normally love blue more, but I will vote for the Dark Green since this colour is badly needed for military MOC. (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: HOT! Need your help in choosing... —Erik Olson
(...) Lego often refers to ordinary green brick as Dark Green, maybe to distinguish it from the lighter green foliage and the Lime color. The January 2004 S@H catalog bricks by type-color page shows the confusion about green/dark green. (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: HOT! Need your help in choosing... —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Good point. The picture did seem to look like it was a darker green than the normal green though... more like the bionicle dark green. Which would be really cool. But I voted for the Dark blue instead... (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: HOT! Need your help in choosing... —Paul Janssen
(...) The color "dark green", is that equivalent to what on Bricklink is "green", or is it a new color. If it is the same as Bricklink "green" (i.e. the very common green found in buckets, larger baseplates, etc), then this is going to affect the (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

All I can say is C O O L ! Now which other company will ask its customers such a direct question regarding a future product? Oh yeah, I voted for dark green - because my wife liked that one more! (URL) goto-lab> (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: HOT! Need your help in choosing... —John Radtke
(...) That LEGO would offer us the chance to do this is just incredible! However, I too would like some official clarification on what is meant by 'dark green' since that term has a history of inconsistent usage by S@H. Right now shop.lego.com seems (...)         Re: HOT! Need your help in choosing... —John Barnes
Any chance the set could be produced with all the colored parts in a single bag? That way, the set color could be decided at the last moment. Which means that it could be made available in more than one new color. Knowing my buying habits, I'd just (...) (20 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.lego, FTX)

Re: HOT! Need your help in choosing... —John P. Henderson
(...) Seems to be a lot of support for the Dark Green in this thread, so I thought I'd voice an alternative opinion.
