Maybe we should put something in the WAMALUG charter about me not being
allowed to bring pink train creations to our shows.  In fact, you should
do that before the Gaithersburg event this weekend. ;)

heh, if you're going to do that, how about a section saying Kevin is
not allowed to build with tiles?  :)

Which reminds me...

A WARNING to the general AFOL community:
If you are ever building with Kevin Loch and he asks for tiles,
do not, I repeat, DO NOT, admit that you have any.  This individual
has been known to use massive quantities of tile in seconds.

If you find that your tile has been hoarded by Kevin Loch, please
contact WAMALUG, we have been specially trained to deal with this behavior.

Maybe his metroliner wouldn't be rolling off the table if he didn't cover
the table with tiles...  :)

Hasn't he also been known to come over to other people's houses and tile their
MOCs? :)  Lucky for me, I keep all my printed and unprinted in the same bag..
it would take him too long. :)   oh... that and I'm just as tile obsessive as
he is... hmm... this doesn't solve anything does it? :)

I think so... my memories are kinda scarred from that incident.

Another countermeasue is to mix in plates(1) witht the tiles at a ratio
of 1 plate : 23 tiles.  This may puzzle him, in the confusion, grab the
bag of tiles and run.  :)

-Chris

1- 1x3 plates work well by their nature of being an odd length.

So the question is, are the cars ALL light pink whenever possible, or do you mix
the 3 shades of pink?  ;-)

Sooner or later I'm going to make a short circus train - probably green, pink,
purple, and yellow for most of the cars and the engine ;-)

Nonono - each car will be one color (maybe black/grey/white accents) - no WAY would I
mix them, ick  ;-)

The lightist pink will make up the body with the striping done in the
darker
colors along with white.  However, the body may be white with pink
striping.
It all depends if LEGO ever offers pink train windows...

Will Middelaer did make a rainbow train car
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=804
I only try to look at it from low angles so I can't see the roof ;)
