Re: BOW, A new brick wargame

Hi, I've just uploaded the version 1.2 of the rules. In this new version, nothing changed about the rules, but I rewrote some sentence and clarified some paragraph. I also added more pictures. The PDF of this new version contains 6 more pages but (...) (14 years ago, 28-Mar-10, to lugnet.gaming, FTX)

Re: BOW, A new brick wargame

(...) Thanks! Recently I had the chance to test it myself with a friend and I'm now really convinced of all the fun you can get from it. (...) Yes, this might be an idea to try. However, it may becomes more difficult to move the minifig around. (...) (14 years ago, 26-Mar-10, to lugnet.gaming, FTX)

  Star Wars Gaming

Is anyone playing wargames with the LEGO Star Wars minifigs and vehicles? I am looking for stats for the different minifigs such as the StormTroopers, Han, Luke, Rebel Troopers, etc. I am aware of Brik Wars and the Brick Troop Score sites, but these (...)   Re: LEGO Board Games: Interview with Cephas Howard

(...) Great stuff. (...) Lunar Command (the only game I've bought so far) really does feel like it's been designed by someone with a good feeling for what works in boardgames. Turns out it's not someone but sometwo. :-) Maybe it's just me, but I (...) (15 years ago, 4-Aug-09, to lugnet.gaming)

BrikWars windows game - free download

I've written a free and open-source computer game for Windows, based on Mike Rayhawks excellent BrikWars wargame rules. It's a turn-based strategy where you create an army of minifigs and battle against the computer or other players. Download is (...) (15 years ago, 4-Jan-09, to lugnet.gaming)

Anyone in SC doing some lego gaming?

I'm a recent mover to southern SC / Northern Ga and it seems the area is pretty dry for gaming opportunities. Sadly, that means my lego collection has stayed packed away in boxes in the garage. I'd love a reason to get out there and start to unearth (...) (16 years ago, 10-Jun-08, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

  Re: Updated web pages

(...) Hi Avery! Sorry for the delayed reponse - sometimes I think my communication signals through the depths of space are being done in "real time"... i.e., it takes a long time! Anyhoo, I am still here and my interest in Starship has not gone (...) (16 years ago, 19-May-08, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

  Updated web pages

As long as the links on the Starship web site still remain the same, then I can safely say that I have updated the web sites for my two sectors, the Granth and Cruan'atan sectors. The front page for both now advertises my upcoming adventures. Here (...) (16 years ago, 28-Apr-08, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

  Creating interest in Starship

Okay, so here I am cooking up not one, but two new adventures for the Cruan'atan sector, with a third in the cooker for Granth sector. I have just finished, yes finished, a very nice starship at 67 studs that will feature big in my gaming future. (...) (16 years ago, 7-Apr-08, to lugnet.gaming.starship)

  Re: Intro Sector Idea

(...) Still about. Happy to keep the data up to date. Old email address still works. I'd be happy to join in as a player, probably not as a sector mod. Might need a new ship though.
