| | | | | Hi y'all!
I'm back... it was a great, albeit long, vacation... reminded me what I missed
back in .il, and what I should be grateful for over here. It *is* good to be
back home... the computer, the lego, lugnet, I missed'em. ;-)
(Oh, and my family too ;-)
I've got a few stuff (as in, stories) up my sleeve, but it'll be a while til
they're ready, I s'pose. Bringing Scar and the gang along was useful (and no I
did NOT lose anyone this time! ;-), and I managed to spare a few moments for
writing (usually during the few lectures we had in camp...).
I've got a lot of pictures, which I might (or might not) upload, if there's
any interest. LMK!
-Shiri
P.S. please FUT appropriately...
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Welcome back!
Were you able to obtain any more of your LEGO collection from back home?
How is your jet lag?

Yeah... I got all of mine (which "surprisingly" doesn't seem so big
anymore...) and a little bit of my cousin's, including some rare-ish bits like
BFs, some Crusaders and BKs, Blacktron and a few classic windows... didn't
catch the fabuland though (dang!).
So now I'm trying to figure out how to fit BFs in my story (actually I've been
pondering that for a while now) and how to maximize my army with the new
things I got...
> How is your jet lag?
Not as bad as the fact that I can't sleep for more than 5 hours straight, coz
that's the amount I'd sleep in camp every day... ;-)

Hi Shiri,
From a lurker's standpoint, let me say that I missed you! It's been a
little dull since you've been away! I'm glad you're back and I look forward
to reading your postings!

First of all, thanks, it's nice to be missed!
Secondly, why lurk?... when you can post and make it un-dull... c'mon, show
some initiative around here ;-)

Hey Mark, lemme clue you in. Castle has about twice as many posts as Space...
nyah nyah ;-)

I vote for .fun...

Yes, Shiri, but if you never posted to castle, Space would have twice as many
posts :) Nyah nyah.

ROFL... not true... if I never posted, maybe space would have a chance of
having as much posts as castle... sorry, but I only post half the posts
in .castle, not 3/4! ;-)
Castle rules! ;-)

That's cause the skill level and brainpower required to be a Space fanatic is
about twice the amount as required for Castle. Methinks we're even ;-)

Just a quick note here: I've been away from BrickLUG for a few days, my ethernet
card doesn't work right now :( Gonna get a ride to Best Buy later and get a new
one. Then I can get my buttload of email.
I'm desparate..... :\
But so far, college is a blast! Been super busy, so when my comp gets back
online I'll have to figure out managing time, etc.
Preliminary NELUG thing: If a *few* people want to come over Fri, that's cool.
Prolly no more than 5 people though, the room is small. Email me if interested.
:)

That's pretty short notice. But I'm technically available after probably
4-4:30 this afternoon (have a phone meeting then and don't know how long it
will last). I'll be back to my room probably between 11:30-2, so I'll get
mail then. If anyone wants to stop by, feel free. But I'd like advanced
notice first. I sent my phone number out to the NELUG list.
No hard feelings if nothing happens, I have other things to do but am open
for a get together.
> XFUT .loc.us.ma.bos, coz this ain't a NELUG thing, really...
Yup, exactly. And Shiri, I believe you have the number too.

Now castle will once again claim it's rightful spot as the fastest growing
topic on Lugnet with your posts!
Sorry, I couldn't resist saying that. Welcome back Shiri!

Grin.
Looking forward to your posts.

If you could have, would you have stayed? (As in move back with all your
stuff?)

Yeah, I'm sure I'm not the only one who went on vacation, I'm just the only
one who talked about it so much ;-)

<deep breath>
I don't know. I really don't. There are a lot of factors involved, and since I
don't have much of a choice right now (I *have* to stay this year, and I
*have* to leave next year), I prefer to focus my energy on things I do have to
make up my mind on, instead of figuring out what I'd do "if"...

Well, no point in clogging Brickshelf, so if you're interested, here's a site
made by one of my camp-fellas:
http://medinvest.com/scitech/index.html
Right now, all the pics there were taken with my camera (no one else sent him
any pics yet!)... so, enjoy.
