| I just got back for TRU. Looks like ZNAP have landed in town (Crearwater, Florida)! I’m not impressed with the sets and it look like they are taking up most of the Technic shelf space. But there may some good parts in these sets: EX: 3552 Hover-Sub (...) (24 years ago, 15-Apr-00, to lugnet.znap, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

| I saw lots of Znap and Construx on sale in ICA Maxi and Leksakshuset in Ingelsta, Norrköping. In some cases, prices were more than 50% off. I think I'd describe Znap as a cross between Technic Lego and Construx (I'm not sure if Construx was ever available in Sweden). It's basically a node-and-beam building (...) | (...) There were flexible axles in the Znap (motorized) sets. But they are much different than the ones in the 8448. The ones in Znap are "drive" axles, they allow the motor to be in one orientation and the item(s) driven to be in another. It uses a (...) | Take a look at (URL). I live in the US, and have not actually seen any ZNAP sets before. From the pictures, most ZNAP sets look ugly to me. Out of the ones that I've seen - Supercar, Droid Dev Kit, Town(city), etc.. the ZNAP one is the most interesting, as in, why advertise something that was a one-off test in the (...) | Actually, Znap is much closer to Construx, not too much like K'NEX. Basically it will interface with Lego through Technic, sort of like interfacing Duplo and Lego through 2x bricks. Once you make the 'transition', you can do whatever. I am (...) (25 years ago, 22-Sep-99, to lugnet.znap)
