We thought you all might enjoy seeing a LUGNET only sneak preview of the new
LEGO® Island Xtreme Stunts sets before anyone else. If you are interested,
go to http://www.LEGOshop.com and type in the item numbers below in the Item
Number Search field.

#6734 Beach Cruiser - The race is on between Pepper and Snap Locket!

Jeez, where do you get these names??  And since when can a skateboard
race over *dunes*???  hehehehe  But all kidding aside, this one should
be a hit with kids.  Very playable.

#6735 Air Chase - Snap Locket is hot on the Brickster’s tail!

Looks like the plane uses sideways click hinges to hold the wings on.
That's a new part, I think.  But a swingwing seaplane?  That's kind of
silly...

#6736 Beach Lookout – Keep an eye out on the beach from this cool lookout!

You do realize that Jetski is a registered trademark, right?  And the
lifeguard would have a heck of a time getting down off that tower with
any rapidity.  There should be a ramp to the beach, like real
lifeguard towers have.

#6737 Wake Rider – Sky Lane can really ride the waves!

Not bad, but it's either overpriced or it isn't clear from the
pictures what all is included.

#6738 Skateboard Challenge – Pepper and Sky can really fly down the halfpipe
and do wild stunts on their boards!

Is the ramp printed or are those stickers?  That ramp element could
prove to be very handy if it isn't printed...

#6739 Truck and Stunt Trikes - It’s Sky Lane vs. the Brickster in the stunt
trike championship.

Some neat parts in this set, and it's nice to see Lego realizing that
6-wide is the only way to go for trucks.  But why tricycles?  What
ever happened to the old motorcycle molds?  In real life, 3-wheel
ATV's have been off the market for years due to safety concerns, and
with wide tires the 2-wheelers are perfectly playable.  (Now a 4-wheel
ATV would be a neat idea...)

#6740 Xtreme Tower - It’s Sky Lane vs. the Brickster in the stunt trike
championship.

Um, isn't that what you said about 6739? ;-) And where's the bungee
jump??

All of these items are available to order in both North America and Europe!
And be sure to look for 3 more LEGO® Island Xtreme Stunts sets available
this summer!

It'll be interesting to see how juniorized these are - they don't look
too bad from the pictures.  And I see the new curved slopes are
everywhere, which I think is a good thing.  We need more of the 2x4
beveled bricks and plates though, to match them.

Each set seems to come with alternate model pictures - are there
instructions for the alternate models?

AMAZING BUT TRUE: There is so much sand in northern Africa that if it were
spread out it would completely cover the Sahara Desert!

Nice commentary Bill... (...) hehe!! That is one interesting Bungee jump on the "main model". 'Pepper bungee jumps into the control center' Yikes!!! Talk about dangerous activity.
