A Part of a Western Town —Dean R. Hennen
Hi all, It has been....about two months or so since the first update in the Wild West board. I have a few MOCs to show you. A saloon, a bank, a General Store, Barber Shop, and an outhouse ;) (URL) of the buildings in the folder are not totally up to (...)         Re: A Part of a Western Town —Benjamin Ellermann
Hi Dean, I just saw your post in western (I guess lugneters dont visit this group much). Your town is has several nice details. I like the shelves in the store, the piano in the saloon, and the outhouse. My only constructive criticism would be to (...) (21 years ago, 15-May-03, to lugnet.western)

Re: A Part of a Western Town —Dean R. Hennen
SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT WHY I PUT THE NEWSGROUPS LIKE THIS: Since hardly anyone views the WW board anymore, I decided to put it in a more "populated" area. I don't usually do this thing with the newsgroups okay? ___...___ (...) YESS! SOMEONE'S FINALLY IN (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.western, lugnet.town)

        Death of lugnet.western? —Benjamin Ellermann
In lugnet.western, Dean R. Hennen writes: snipped (...) I look forward to seeing your new town changes. I like your farm as well. (...) Several factors may have led to the "death" of lugnet.western. First, TLC is no longer producing new western sets (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.western)

TLC's WW Matter (was Re: Death of lugnet.western?) —Dean R. Hennen
Hello again Ben, Yes.....those are good reasons. And another thing, TLC has a pretty (how should I say?) obvious problem when it comes to "ordinary life" in most themes. Town has most of the "ordinary life" (or at least the old kits) but many types (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.western)

Re: TLC's WW Matter (was Re: Death of lugnet.western?) —Benjamin Ellermann
(...) I would also like more "ordinary life" sets. But you have to look at the history of the company. They know what works. What I find amazing about TLC is how little things have changed in the last 25 years. For example new "NASA" sets are coming (...) (21 years ago, 16-May-03, to lugnet.western)

Re: TLC's WW & Etc. Matter —Dean R. Hennen
(...) Yes, I know that. Though some sets are too darn simple (e.g. Town Jr. Bank #6566 and 5850 Royal Crystal Palace....AAAIIIEEE!), they make pretty good facades (take set 7418: Scorpion Palace) and contraptions like trapdoors, yes, ESPECIALLY (...)       (...) Hey, thanks very much! Well, I just want to say that I am working on a white schoolhouse. It'll probably be finished tomorrow. The pity is, I don't have anymore beige plates. So, I have to use regular green baseplates. Since this will be part (...) (21 years ago, 18-May-03, to lugnet.western, lugnet.build)

Head-in-a-jar in my WW Town! —Dean R. Hennen

Re: TLC's WW Matter (was Re: Death of lugnet.western?) —Rick Clark
