I have a question for all the LTCs that have had "kid play areas" on thier layouts. This summer we at the NGLTC had a section that the kids were allowed to drive the trains, and this October we're planning on going a steop futher and having a full (...) (...) Oh, I'll take this bait: LEGO paid about 80% of the costs to get the GMLTC and our layout out to Carlsbad. That's it. That's *every* "sponsorship" deal the GMLTC has ever received. Although some aspects of what PNLTC and GMLTC have done are not widely publicised (for example, the exact sponsorship deals that both GMLTC and PNLTC have recieved) this info is (...) Steve and Fans of LEGO Trains, How about we go one step further. How about a World Wide LEGO Train Association (WWLTA?) with a web site and maybe a news letter. It could be like a web ring for the LEGO Train Clubs and fan of LEGO trains (ex: NFL.com (...) (24 years ago, 2-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Yes, we had all the ambassador cars there, some a little later than others, but we did have all of them there. Today I couldn't make it to the PNLTC display until after it was already being taken down, but I finally saw the various ambassador cars. You'll find pictures of the majority of them in the "August20"th folder at (URL) (as well as many other (...)
