But what J-2 *isn't* saying is that the first show for the new GMLTC layout
is NOT a 'train show', it is a large Scandanavian Festival in Minot, North
Dakota. We're building for the target audience! And even our 'town'
sections will have two mainlines (which will be dog-boned for this first
show), two subway lines, and a surface trolley line - so we'll still be
running four seperate trains.
The train yard is "planned" (like the GMLTC "plans" anything!) for phase two
of this layout. Roundhouse & turntable, several sidings off the main lines,
coaling and water towers, and more storage underneath the sections - since
we have more rolling stock than we know what to do with right now!
But of course J-2 would have to actually show up at GMLTC meetings, and *pay
attention*, in order to know these things. John, if you'd like to find a
different club to belong to, feel free...
