First of all, I'm pleased that the 'mainstream' modelling companies/organizations are taking notice of the potential for L-gauge trains (figures they would, since Lego layouts (...) Now if I can just steel myself enough I will be taking the motor out of a train motor and fitting a HO scale decoder inside with the motor outputs going to the 2x2 connector.   reed switch/codepilot question
 
Greetings, I was looking at using a reed switch to control some train stuff. Unfortunately I only have a codepilot rather than an RCX. The codepilot accepts touch sensors.   Custom Curved Switch in our layout
 
We forgot to take clear pictures of them at our last show, but here is a preview: (URL) As you can see, we used a custom modified switch (by Joe), of which the off-leg equals 1 curved track.
