Light Blue Steamer

Hi Teunis,

those are nice creations! I count a width of 7 studs for the steamer, is that right? 7 is my lucky number.... ;-)

A Question to the FGLTC . How do I find the Rolling bricks web site ?

http://www.ozbricks.net/rollingbricks/santafe.html

I have googeled it myself just a minute ago. I will try to update the FGLTC-site in half an hour.

As I would like to have a look at the 8 wide Santa fe engine again. It was Lugnet Lego site of the week in 2002.

Keep on bricking!

Thanks Ben ,for the link to the Rolling bricks site.

Yes, it’s a 7 wide !

It’s funny that you replyed to my message . As I have been studying your trains ,and Holger Matthes trains, for a while now. I copied your design for the 7750 style wheels , by putting 1*2 hinge plates in to allow the middle wheel to move sideways. And the flex rods for push rods.

I wish I had more pictures off it, but I don’t have a digital camera. The 6 main drive wheels are connected to the train body by 1*1*1 round bricks . And the rest of the wheels are connected to these six wheels not the body. The whole lower front of the train turns to make the corners. The tender has the 9v motor with 2 weight bricks and 9v wheels with the holders removed. The boiler is all SNOT construction. using 2*4*2 24 stud bricks. and many tiles as I did not want any studs showing.I still have to detail inside the cabin, so it’s not finished. But I never really finish any MOC fully.

Do you know how Dirk (?) built up the front windshield on his Santa Fe ? This was why I liked his 8 wide .

Does anyone know were I could find some picture of the back off a real life F40PH Amtrak train ? As I could not find any when I was building this train.

Many Thanks , Teunis M>LTC
