If I recall none of the figs were seriously injured, and the pole was quickly repaired, but the dude on the skateboard moved a bit further from the tracks for (...) | Have you tried cleaning the track? My 9v was doing something very similar recently, Cleaning the track fixed the problem. | I used a clean rag with some CRC brand CO2 solvent sprayed on it. It's safe with plastics and is used to clean electronics etc. It leaves no residue.... Some other Lugnetters have suggested Methylated Spirits ... Whatever you use, test it on a (...) (23 years ago, 15-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)

| I have an older #5300 train motor that became very sporadic in operation. My diagnosis is that the rubber O-ring tires that provide the traction are throwing out small amounts of rubber that is then being compressed/melted (by friction?) onto the (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)
