  Re: 10020 in S@H catalogue?

(...) How are we going to use the black decorative 9v train motor side piece accurately on this model? Will we have to replace the light grey trucks with our own black ones? Should we expect LEGO to include light grey decorative sides for our 9v (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)

Have you tried cleaning the track? My 9v was doing something very similar recently, Cleaning the track fixed the problem. Price point taken, yes, they would be expensive in the individual packs like 7858 & 7859. Speaking as a former 12V user, there was that nice little add-on called 7863. When I bought my system in 1985 (great year for American Dollar) in Europe, I (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Train motor repair-9v

I have an older #5300 train motor that became very sporadic in operation. My diagnosis is that the rubber O-ring tires that provide the traction are throwing out small amounts of rubber that is then being compressed/melted (by friction?) onto the (...) (23 years ago, 14-Mar-02, to lugnet.trains)
