| (...) It is small and has fewer pieces than other train sets, but I don't think it is "juniorized" completely. It uses mostly regular pieces and I think its low piece count can be attributed to its low price more than anything else. Definitely worth (...) (26 years ago, 24-Feb-99, to lugnet.trains)

| Hello all! I have been reading the posts on Lugnut for sometime and decided to jump on in. I have admired many of your websites regarding trains and 9V setups. I have even done a few of my own conversions. Does anyone use a particular model railroad (...) (26 years ago, 31-Dec-98, to lugnet.trains)

| | New MOC Engine: DB V140
|
| Got inspired to work on a model of the German Federal Railways DB V140 diesel hydrolic locomotive. Primary pieces to make this model of the DB V140 come from: 1. 4551 9v train locomotive a. the two cab faces b. red-ribbed 2x2 bricks 2. 5571 Model (...) | Have to get a closer look when I'm at work with a T1. I did have a chance to notice the snow plow. It looks like there is a special wheel between the other two. Perhaps it is used to drive the blade on the snow plow? That would be cool. Also the (...) (26 years ago, 26-Dec-98, to lugnet.trains)

| Yes, it is. The 12V guage is the same as the 9V and even the motors are the same size, so you shouldn't have any problems running the 7745 on 9V track with a 9V motor. But, if you are getting 12V track with the train, try running the train on 12V (...) (25 years ago, 13-Apr-99, to lugnet.trains)
