Larry;

Sorry, Larry, I stand corrected. I humbly ask for forgiveness, I
remember that discussion for 3225 now. I still think it is a Town junior
approach to the trains, however.

It is small and has fewer pieces than other train sets, but I don't
think it is "juniorized" completely.  It uses mostly regular pieces and
I think its low piece count can be attributed to its low price more than
anything else.  Definitely worth the price, IMHO.

Well, I don't think it's nearly as Juniorized as 4561, that's for sure,
but I do agree it has stuff that's not as great as say, 4563. No need to
grovel, though.

I really liked 3225.  I thought Lego was really getting back on track ;)
with regard to trains when I saw it.  I was EXTREMELY disappointed when
the 4561 pics showed up later.  I looked at that set for several days,
trying to find a way to like it, but couldn't come up with anything.  I
won't buy it.  I'll save for a classic 12V train instead :)  I will
probably try to get the other '99 train sets though.  Some are sort of
dorky looking, but really, all Lego is in a way :)

I could not get myself to buy it. I
can't seem to find your review on your webpage, could you point me to
it? Thanks!

posted to lugnet.reviews around 18 october. Also given to adequate.com
but it was never posted by them. Dunno why not.

I thought that Larry's review of the 3225 was the best review of a set I
had ever read.  I think Lego should use the narrative portion of the
review in their catalogs to help sell these sets!
