The norwegian train nut is back

Hi all, I've been sort of underground for a while, but I used to be quite active at r.t.l some years ago. Someone once referred to me as "our norwegian train nut", which I regarded as an honour. You'll probably understand if you take a look at the (...) (23 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Need some help with some Train specs

(...) Thats what I told the folks at the Greenberg show last weekend. Many of them ran off with a piece of track to measure it but I never asked what they came up with. Just say its "LEGO" gauge because Minifigs aren't to scale with "us" anyway (...) (24 years ago, 8-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

Modified LEGO race train motor (it's a screamer)

I finally found a victim to be a part of my mad scientist scheme to become the first modified class Rail Racer(TM)[ (URL) ] engine.   Re: A very fast TGV

Hello, I would like to comment a bit on the speed calculation for the TGV. BTW a very impressive TGV release by Xavier Viallefont. In fact we should apply the scale factor to estimate the speed of Lego trains and compare to the "real world". To ease (...) (19 years ago, 2-Nov-05, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Interesting Article About Train hobby....

(...) When I was very young I loved a battery-operated train with plastic track because you could make up layouts at random. This particular one wasn't as sophisticated as the Duplo train, but the track was cheap. Kind of like a soft plastic version (...) (18 years ago, 5-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
