What do you miss most about “the good old days”?

I miss absolutely nothing about the 9v days. Since switching over to Power Functions I’ve been having more fun than ever with my train MOCs. They run better under PF and I have a lot more versatility in what I can do. Sure it’s not as easy as just plopping a 9v train motor under your MOC but it’s that increased challenge that makes the hobby fun. And you can’t do stuff like this with the old 9v and get the same great running qualities.

Cale,

this engine is stunning and really beautiful with all it’s details! I agree with you on the extreme play value of power function. LEGO did well on this system.

By combining 9V + IR-trains + PF-trains the system wins even further complexicity, what I like a lot.

Leg Godt!
