What do you miss most about the good old days?
|
I miss absolutely nothing about the 9v days. Since switching over to Power
Functions Ive been having more fun than ever with my train MOCs. They run
better under PF and I have a lot more versatility in what I can do. Sure its
not as easy as just plopping a 9v train motor under your MOC but its that
increased challenge that makes the hobby fun. And you cant do stuff like this
with the old 9v and get the same great running qualities.

And the train club is not dead. PennLUG while not strictly a train club is still
displaying train layouts in the grand tradition.
And our layouts just keep getting better every year. Long live the Power
Functions revolution!
