i have passed this question on to LEGO, I will let you know when there is an

I have been buying 9v straight track regularly from the local Lego Store and the
three boxes I bought two weeks ago have new dark blay. All of the earlier boxes
were old dark grey. I assume they had run out of boxed straight track and had
more made. I think that they had a very large amount made (several years supply)
at a time so I find this encouraging.

| (...) Bruce, I noticed that on the S@H website, nearly everything involving curved tracks is presently out of stock, implying to me that more curved tracks are presently being made as well.
