No wrong turn, just a dare from Mat Clayson that I couldn’t build an engine and four cars before he built a Moonbase Module.

As a train novice, it is perhaps not entirely my place to comment, but I am very impressed. I would never have guessed this was a beginning; it looks like the work of an experienced train builder. As I’m just starting into trains, myself, seeing this really gives me hope that I might be able to come up with something half as clean and sharp.

I am very impressed by the SNOT striping on the engine, definately not the first solution that comes to my mind, but I can’t think of a better way to do it. The box car looks great, very good use of the waffle plates. I really like the look of the gondola, but I think I’d want more pics of it to get a better idea of its shape.

Excellent work all around.
