Here is a preview to an upcoming ALCO RS-1 illustrated step book: front-cover-shot, back cover, and a an early real-brick-build which uses this 2x2 curved slope brick.

I hope LEGO(R) releases the new 1x3x1 curved brick in black. However, appropriate RS-1 liveries do exist which had a red roof...and the brick is available in red.

Looks like there are some more Mathis innovations here. The loco has real character and the livery choice works well. I like the front bufferbeam(1) I was interested to see the real build, did you paint the roof bricks or mock them up with other parts?

(1) Well not bufferbeam as there are no buffers but I don’t know what the word is.

In particular, this is a switcher pilot since it has steps or footboards (1), not a snowplow. 1 - terrifically dangerous to actually ride on, and now banned to (...)
