Re: BBB Inspire Swiss Ae 3/6" Electric Locomotive Model —Tim David
(...) On thing I was wondering with these wheels is how to do a full coupling rod for rigid six coupled chassis, would this work? (URL) I love the model of the Ae 3/6. the early Swiss locs with their odd wheel arrangments and cranks are a favorite (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Needs to be deeplinked. This is not a deeplink it doesn't end in a file extension... Maybe that gives the appearance that the wheels stick out left/right farther than do the 12v wheels? See this (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: BBB Inspire Swiss Ae 3/6" Electric Locomotive Model —Tim David
(...) Yes that what causing it, now I look at the original image I can see that the wheels go lower than rail level. It doesn't really matter anyway as they are temporary parts but thanks for clearing it up. The sweepstake is now open for the length (...) (21 years ago, 11-Nov-03, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) A "good enough" mockup should not be too hard... ... start with Ben's!!! but the bending in the rear of the ribs will take some care to model accurately. personally I'd vote for seeing if Ben can release his CAD files (assuming he designed (...)
