Yes and no. You have to file down some plastic on the inside of the 12v
electrified rails to get them to snap onto the 9v tracks. Also, the
wheels on the 12v trains knock against the 9v power supply bricks, and
can eventually knock the 9v power supply bricks off.
Been there, tried that...
