  Santa Fe Car Order

I was reading about the Santa Fe in some old magazines and they had a car order from a excursion in 1991. It was pulled by a Northern(S.F. 3751)* and 2 backup Dash 8-40CW Diesels(844 and 840). 3463 Baggage(Tool) Car* 77 Baggage Car 67 Sleeper "Regal (...) (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I read this and I thought 'how Lego-obsessed must he be to re-arrange his holiday' until I realised that that's exactly what I've done in postponing going to the Edinburgh Festival for two days so I can go on the Legoland Windsor 'modelmaking (...) (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Ouch :( That's frustrating indeed! Well I was supposed to drive of on holiday today, but just before I went out the door the postman brought me a package... S@H with my roof and red 1*x bricks! So I immediately postponed my vacation 1 day and (...) (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Sorry about that, getting quite spoiled by broadband here... I make a second album where all pics are resized to 512*384. It can be found here (URL) other links still work, for those that like the bigger pictures. With regards, -- Jan-Albert (...) (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Loading time is quite long and looking at such partly seen pictures is pain.... Since this a preview, a 320x240 picture would have given the same amount of information in 5% of the time it took now. (...) Read this after I had tried to open (...) (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Can't say. I don't have any of those sets and haven't looked at them in the store closely enough to tell. But probably. (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Engine shed update

After acquiring a number of black slopes, windows and red bricks I started working on a second section and further completed the roof on part 1. As can be seen here, (URL) shed is modulair (some day I might even do a middle section) I used some (...) (22 years ago, 8-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

Santa Fe Cars for US S@H

Has anyone else had any trouble ordering the Santa Fe cars from the US S@H? I just placed and order for 2 10025 and 3 10022. They would honor the price of $148 but they had a real tough time finding the sets in their system. I got kind of an uneasy (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I think you can say it is. C3PO has that same kind of "strange glow" to it. But the Santa Fe pieces are of course, as you say, grey/silver coloured. Kecia (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

Larry, is this essential a gray version of the C3PO that is .. gold I guess. But I guess C3PO doesn't have flecks if I remember correctly. (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

Lar - Is this the same metallic gray that some of the Bionicle sets use (and I think one of the new Star Wars or Island Extreme sets used the same color - can't remember which as all the sets I have bought for parts recently have become blurred in (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

  RE: Santa Fe cars

Hi, It seems I'm a bit out of the loop up here in Canada. What is this special trains catalog? What is the code? If I can get 5 for $148, I would consider purchasing some..... Bob Robert Horvath -----Original Message----- From: (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Yes, you do. Unfortunately, you can't apply more than 1 code at once, so if you happen to be getting multiple Santa Fe sets and 5 or more bulk packs, you can only apply one of the discounts. :/ I'm not sure if that's WAD or not; my impression (...) (22 years ago, 7-Aug-02, to lugnet.trains)
