  10020 on shop.lego.com

Just to let everybody know the Santa Fe Super Chief 10020 is now available on the Shop at Home website. It says "Backorders Accepted, will ship by 29 Mar 2002" It can be found under the "Trains" and "What's New" catagories. I just placed my order. (...)   Monorail Parts

I'm planning to make a model of the Jacksonville Skyway, and I'm using monorail parts for it. I'm not good at editing parts, and I don't understand what to do with subparts. Could somebody email me or post monorail files? John Henry Kruer (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: A Kiddies Feeble Attempt at an ETR480

(...) That's pretty good. The first link worked fine, by the way. You've done a great job on the cab and sloping stripe detail - can I suggest you adjust the white stripe on the carriages to match the doors though? Even if it's not so authentic (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)

  grey trucks on superchief

In this picture here: (URL) the grey motor sidings (what are these things called anyway?) Do they come with the set as well - even though it doesn't come with a motor? Also note the grey buffer beam - coolness! Kevin (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

  I saw the 10020 live!

To All Poor Trains Souls Not At BricksWest, If you could not be at BricksWest this Saturday evening, well, Brad Justus gave us a very good talk and pulled out the 10020, BUILT!!! Lots of us there were able to go through it, the box, parts, etc., and (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 10020 in S@H catalogue?

(...) You're thinking too hard. The top of the picture is just the removeable top, and the bottom of the picture shows the interior. As for the appearances that the two locomotives are different sizes, I counted studs, and estimate that both (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 10020 in S@H catalogue?

Since, I don’t have a copy of the new catalog yet, I have been staring at the scanned images. On the top right hand side of the picture, is another picture of the inside of the engine. Looking at the caption below it says "Open the roof to see (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Check this one out and tell me if someone else has done it

(...) Sure. It's cute, I just think the vertical stalk probably ought to be a bit more delicate... perhaps an axle or tube instead of a 1x1. That's what I was referring to. (...) A pity, this used to be a seperately orderable item. Next time you're (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 10020 in S@H catalogue?

I have just ordered mine via the S@H phone number (800-453-4652) in Canada. Expect to ship on upcoming Wednesday. This is truly an amazing train to own. "GoB" quality but LEGO friendly price tag. Way to go, LEGO! "Mike Walsh" (...) (23 years ago, 17-Feb-02, to lugnet.trains)
