No, I haven't posted that design, yet. I would like to test it in a full
multi-wagon train set first. I have tested a single wagon, and it works.
But, I think it safe to be cautious with an announcement untill I more
rigorously test the construction.

I think this ETR500 could be set to 6-wide fairly easily. Just lose the
white slopes either side of the cab and tighten the nose a bit. Maybe?
By the way, the windscreen for this ETR500 would come from the Star Wars
Emperial Shuttle set #7166. Even the gray/white paint job on this large
trans-gray windscreen might look OK or even better than a plane large
windscreen.??
I hope you have enough green bricks!

| (...) Hi James, very nice model! When I saw your APT design some days ago I immediately thought of how the tilting mechanism would have been great for a model of ETR500. I hope I have enough green bricks to actually build your ETR500, and maybe try (...) (23 years ago, 6-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)
