The capacitor can be used to run lights in a train if you run an RCX to power the rails - that way, the lights will be full brightness. That's assuming the cap has a diode to allow current only one way, otherwise you'd have to add one to the wire (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

They arn't on the web site, I have only seen them in the spare parts area in the catalog. They have two different wire paks, two 10', and one with a 5', 2', and 1' (approx). I'll dig up my catalog and post the part #'s and cost a bit later tonight. (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)

In the future, if Lego doesn't come out with DCC or something like it in their 2001 train line, I will be converting my motors over to DCC. The newest line of Digitrax decoders offers a unit that reads back the EMF from the motor and adjusts to (...) (25 years ago, 30-Mar-00, to lugnet.trains)
