All, Larry mentioned a train in the GMLTC pictures that is not a standard Lego color. It is my beloved locomotive "Kathryn" which pulls the royal train on my layout. Not really new ideas at all. All copied from other work. Especially the turning of the thinwall windows by 90 degrees! I just got an idea to remove any spacing gaps in at the right angle endpoint connections. Maybe this is old news? I used the 1x3x2 (...) (25 years ago, 27-Jan-00, to lugnet.trains)

Larry, Thanks for the build-up . . . but one correction: I abhor painting bricks and would never attempt such a transgression. However, stickers and decals are acceptable because they extend the creative possibilites without permanently damaging the (...)
