Also try looking at the alternate model on the 4565 (Matt Bates has instructions up on his site). It doesn't use that many rare parts, I believe. Since they seem to be on sale at Zany Brainy this week, you may be able to pick up the 4565 cheap if (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) I don't own a Metroliner (though I do own some Metroliner parts), but I do have some ideas. Do you have any extra grey train windows (you need one more pair)? I would take all the windows from the 4 engines and make a 2nd coach. If you don't (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)

For anyone who's interested, the Zany Brainy in Rocky River, Ohio, has a bunch of the 4565's in stock. I bought one last night, and there were probably at least ten still in stick. Anyone who lives nearby, or is looking for a store to ship one from, (...) (25 years ago, 17-Dec-99, to lugnet.trains)
