Here's a few more pics: (URL) Talking to the chairman of the event on Sunday, the estimated attendance was roughly 30.000 visitors!! Over the weekend, COLTC was in the rural town of Dennison, Ohio; about a 2 hour drive north-east of Columbus. The Dennison Train Festival was put on by Dennison Railroad Depot Museum, in cooperation with the Ohio Central Railroad. The festival (...) (...) I use 6 BBB Beta wheels in my steam train.It's a 4 6 2. When I was building the test chassie's for the trains wheels. I tried six and seven stud spacing between the wheels. I end up using seven studs. I found that it would derail aswell, and (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Jason, Thanks for the heads up. I'm real happy with what I have, as it's simple. As it is, if one wheel is pushed in, it can only push the other middle wheel to the same extent as the front and back drive wheels, so no rubbing. Also I wanted (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.trains)

I'm nearly finished with my HE 4-6-0, and thought I'd share some pics. It uses 3 pair of the BBB regular drive wheels, non are blind drive wheels. And it had a drive rods spannig all tree wheel sets. After experimenting I had several ideas to get 3 (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.trains)
