Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO World City Products!

In the words of Big Kev - I'M EXCITED! I see lots of trans-black - are those quater cyclinder panels in trans black on the police station? - lots of wheels in grey, 6 wide trucks and some interesting new slopes. Looks like some nice sets coming up. (...) (21 years ago, 12-May-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

Re: SCLTC - Fullerton Railroad Days - May 3-4, 2003

Oh well. I'll remember that for next time, which is incidentally from the 22-26 of this month! There will be more pictures and more cool stuff. Check back later, - Thomas Michon Webmaster, SCLTC (21 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc)

(...) Hi Peter, that topic has been discussed several times before in 1000steine.de and lugnet.train, so check out for e.g. this old posting: (URL) seems that TLC has been short with black pins in middle of the 90ies.   That's not a tree, this is a tree...

I have finally posted my first moc (real moc not LDraw) and am using my Brickshelf file for what is was intended, displaying the brick.   Two Locomotives

I finally bought a digital camera, so here are some of MOC's I've been working on Blue Diesel (URL) train This one I built to match the Sante Fe in appearance, but the SNOT used in the lettering called for it to be built vastly different. The last (...) (21 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Box Art for 2003 LEGO World City Products!

May I suggest a name change for theme? Say "World City Police"? ;-) I must say a lot of the stuff looks great. My general observation is that the 2003 town line is very realistic. Note the dark blue police uniforms and the orange jump suit for the (...) (21 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

Re: SCLTC - Fullerton Railroad Days - May 3-4, 2003

(...) Yes! This is exactly the desired practice, in my view. I've (re?) included trains.org but set FUT back to the group that in my view, is best to host the particular discussion (of Fullerton Railroad Days...), the group specific to the SCLTC (...) I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong) it's better to err on the side of posting to *more* newsgroups for an initial message (assuming the post is appropriate to each newsgroup, of course), and then setting the follow ups to *less* (...)   Re: SCLTC - Fullerton Railroad Days - May 3-4, 2003

(...) I've noticed that when you post to a specific newsgroup, it filters up the tree anyway, when you view it in LUGNET, and since some people complain about cross-posting, I decided to trim my posts to .scltc and .announce. I thought that people (...) (21 years ago, 11-May-03, to lugnet.trains.org.scltc, lugnet.trains)
