This Sunday the NGLTC held a Rail Racers exhibit to help support the Atlanta History Center. It was their "Sundaes on Sunday" event. Not only where the children treated to drag racing LEGO trains, they also had face paintings, arts and crafts, (...) Has anyone tried to make a train car 8 studs across? I was thinking this would be a pretty cool idea for a working Hogwarts train. On the left side of the train, you have the wall, and like the santa fe, the windows have elbow space, as does the (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains)

Unfortunately I really don't have the time needed to keep the LUG Map up to date. There have been several clubs waiting to be included but I just havn't had the time. I contacted Lego Direct and presented the problem to them stating that there was significant drag on the gray wheel sets. In the course of the discussion the lady (name escapes me) who is the customer service rep for trains was not aware of this (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)
